Haunui, pronounced "hoo-noo-ee", begins with wool from New Zealand Halfbred and Fine Romney sheep raised on Taranui, a family-owned farm on South Island, New Zealand. The name Haunui means "place of the winds!" For generations, the Gardner family has raised their sheep with care on the windswept pastures, ensuring the health of the animals as well as the quality of their wool. From New Zealand, the fleece is exported to Japan, where it's carded and spun to Noro's exacting standards. With a natural color palette and a soft, woolly touch, Haunui is a great choice for warm sweaters and accessories.
